John Hampshire (10 February 1941 - 1 March 2017) better known as Jack Hampshire, was an English cricketer, who played eight Tests and three One Day Internationals (ODIs) for England between 1969 and 1975. He was an attractive middle-order stroke-player. He died aged 76 after a long illness.

He was appointed to the Test umpire in 1989, and later in 1999 he was added to the ICC panel of umpires.
